Hash-verified records are served via the get_verified_snapshot RPC.
Each record carries a canonical_hash (SHA-256 of the canonical JSON payload)
and is immutable once approved. Conflict resolution and retesting produce new records
linked via previous_hash.
About VerifyBase
VerifyBase is the canonical approved claim-record layer of the BrandAnchor network. Records cover AI-sourced brand assertions, SOV data samples, and citations — each stored with a SHA-256 canonical hash that makes every record tamper-evident. Data is grounded in the VerifyBase protocol and linked to cited primary sources.
Each record is immutable once approved. Status transitions and retest results are
chained via previous_hash. The audit methodology is detailed on the
Methodology page. Corrections are handled per our Corrections Policy.
